Insurance & Payment FAQ

  • Dr. Ana M. Rodriguez is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services. We provide a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • We recommend calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:

    • What are my mental health benefits for out-of-network providers?

    • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

    • How many therapy sessions are covered per year?

    • What percentage or amount is reimbursed per session?

    • Is pre-authorization required before I can be reimbursed?

    • How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?

  • Choosing an out-of-network provider allows for:
Greater privacy – Your therapy records are not shared with insurance companies.
More personalized care – Treatment decisions are made between you and Dr. Rodriguez, not dictated by insurance policies.
Flexible treatment plans – You receive care that best fits your needs, not limited by insurance restrictions.

  • After each session, we provide a superbill (an itemized receipt). You can submit this document to your insurance provider, either through their online portal or by mail. Some clients use third-party apps like Reimbursify to simplify the process.

  • Dr. Rodriguez’s session rates are as follows:

    • $250 for a 45-minute session

    • $330 for a 60-minute session

Payment is due at the time of service. While we do not accept insurance directly, many clients receive partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to explore your coverage options.

  • We strive to make payments as convenient as possible. We accept Venmo as our primary payment method. If you do not use Venmo, we can email you an invoice with a secure payment link, where you can pay using a credit card or a direct bank transfer. Payment is due at the time of the session.

  • At this time, Dr. Rodriguez does not offer sliding-scale fees. However, we understand that therapy is an investment in your well-being and encourage you to check your insurance benefits to determine your reimbursement options.
